Over 300 teams were heading to Monte Carlo to take part in the 2015 Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique, setting off from 6 European cities, driving cars that had taken part in one of the famous Rallyes Monte-Carlo between 1955 and 1980. In the dead of night on Friday 30th January, the Barcelona leg, of 53 vintage cars, including Porsche, Ford, Mini, Lancia and Alfa Romeo, passed by our house on their way to Monte Carlo. The roar of the engines could be heard long before the cars could be seen! A moment’s indecision caused one team to take a wrong turn, only for them to reappear seconds later. Really exciting!
